Mexico's Role in WWI

Mexico was one of the few countries that stayed neutral in WWI, along with Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Spain, Chile and Argentina.6 This could have been due to the fact that Mexico had its own revolution occurring at that same time, from 1910-19207.

Mexico and the Treaty of Versailles

Although countries urged Mexico to get involved in WWI, they stayed neutral throughout the entire war, and chose not to participate in the Treaty of Versailles.
