The goal of the United Nations is to promote social progress, better living standards, and human rights. The United Nations has helped Mexico with their issues. There are a lot of social issues, as well as poverty. Although these issues still exist, the UN has helped Mexican refugees.
Mexico itself has participated in 3 peacekeeping missions.
